ABOUT SEASON
Thanks to the #MakeWithMaxim design contest I developed the idea of what I think is the best way to use Mikroelektronika's Thermo 6 Click Board (featuring MAX31875). The idea is to create a compact device codenamed Season that will give you a temperature of it's surroundings as well as one area of your interest. Now the idea is to give it a bit of personality too and have it become your morning coffee pal.
2.8" ILI9341 Display
Charming colors for a beautiful morning
The display intended to be used for Season is a 2.8" (320x240) display capable of displaying 262K RGB colors, featuring a ILI9341 graphics controller.

Thermo 6 (MAX31875)
MikroElekronika's Thermo 6 Click Board
Season should have accurate readings, and this will be achieved using MikroElektronika's low power Thermo 6 Click Board that is featuring the capable and accurate MAX31875 sensor.
Microcontroller
The heart of the project
The development & debugging plays a vital part of the evolution of Season. Because of this I will work with MikroElektronika's fascinating Full-Featured development boards and compilers that will give INSTANT results of Season's progress.

#Note: Season will most likely be powered by a PIC32 or STM32. However this is not yet determined. It is still just a concept that is in the early stage of development.
Network
The World Wide Web
The idea is to have it connect to a WDP (Web Data Processor) that will collect and process data from every "Season" out there. This I intend to be achieved using a ESP8266 module that will connect Season with the outside world in a 100% anonymous manner. The traffic that is be done is just a low rate of communication.
